Ord Signature Singleton of Glendullan is an incredibly smooth and rich Singleton. It’s the Master of Malts signature expression of The Singleton of Glen Ord.
It is a creamy, cleansing Highland malt. Smells like citrus fruits, then bananas and cooked apples with hints of nuts and spice, followed by dried fruits. Palette comprises of an initial pepper note then sweet cooked apples and rich dried fruits. Also, it has sweet hints of nuts and spice, with a drying, smooth and rich finish.
Product Description
Glen Ord is a whisky distillery in the Scottish Highlands and one of three distilleries to use the Singleton name. The other two are Dufftown and Glendullan. All of these distilleries are owned by British drinks giant, Diageo.
This bottle is rich, fruity and bursting with flavour. It has been matured in Sherry casks and this leave it with a golden/amber colour and flavours of plum and caramel with a long finish of dark chocolate. This is Singleton of Glen Ord’s signature bottle and a fan favourite.

The Singleton of Glen Ord ‘Signature’ (40%, OB, sherry cask finish, +/-2015) A fairly recent official expression of Glen Ord, possibly at the bottom of the range since it’s NAS. I know, mildly infuriating comments by yours truly. Colour: deep gold. Nose: malty, with some burnt sugar and a touch of earth, plus some vanilla and sponge cake. Not earth shattering, but acceptable. Mouth: quite some spices, cardamom, white pepper… All that on a bed of cardboard and sawdust. A very grassy profile, pretty dry, probably from some rather active oak. What’s better is that a little orange liqueur comes through after a while. Finish: the grassy, spicy and rather ‘green’ oak hasn’t gone. Comments: not quite my cup of Glen Ord. It’s true that once you’ve tried the superb old official 28 and 30 in their square bottles, there’s no way back.
